Don Eben has been an industry leader in telecommunications for 27 years. Currently, he owns Core Network Strategies, a telecommunications contracting corporation which assesses needs and implements solutions in telecommunications companies across the nation. A natural entrepreneur,  Don excels in finding problems and creating solutions for businesses. He holds an undergraduate degree in both mechanical and electrical engineering from John Brown University and an MBA in Finance from Oklahoma City University. Partnering with his wife in his own children’s education and even directing local Classical Conversations high school classes, Don is an avid supporter of classical education.

Mr. Eben is board chair and oversees faculty/staff governance and development, and finance.

Chad Raith is Chief Mission Integration Officer over Systems and Technology for Ascension Health and instructor of systematic theology for Regent College, Vancouver, BC. After obtaining a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech, Chad went on to receive his M.Div., Th.M. and PhD with an emphasis in Historical Theology. He has published numerous books and articles on medieval to early Reformation theology, biblical interpretation, and ecumenical dialogue. Chad was previously lecturer of Great Texts in the Honors Program at Baylor University before teaching at John Brown University as assistant professor of Religion and Philosophy. With his wife, Ansley, he has six children, four of whom attend SCA.

Dr. Raith serves as vice chair and oversees facilities, community outreach and contributions.

Ansley Raith is a freelance graphic designer with a B.A. in journalism and mass-communication from Samford University in Birmingham, AL. Her current service on the Friends of the Siloam Springs Library board and involvement at Community Christian Fellowship alongside volunteering at SCA keep her busy—not to mention being mother to 6 beautiful children, 4 of whom are SCA students. Serving on the board is a way she has chosen to help children in this community encounter the Good, True, and Beautiful and experience joy as lifelong learners. 

Mrs. Raith, secretary, oversees marketing, communication, events, and the ever-popular Spirit Shop.

Jonathon Wilson is a Project Manager for Simmons Foods in Siloam Springs, AR. He holds a BBA in Operations Management from the University of Michigan-Flint and a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas. From kindergarten through eighth grade, he attended a series of private Christian schools. He was homeschooled from then on, and the first of his family to earn a college degree. While progressive educational methods may leave much of children’s potential untapped, from Jonathon’s perspective, classical and Christian education provides a way for children to become who God designed them to be.

Mr. Wilson serves as treasurer.

For more than twenty-two years, Carrie Eben has championed classical education in both the private school classroom and homeschool arenas and passionately leads teachers and parents in the classical model of education. She researches, develops, and delivers customized workshops for administrators, teachers, and parents in both classical school and homeschool settings via Classical Eben Education Consulting (www.classicaleben.com). Carrie holds a BSE in Intermediate Education from John Brown University and a MSEd in Curriculum and Instruction from Oklahoma State University. She is currently a PhD student in the Humanities at Faulkner University, a Bluestocking in Residence for the Society for Women of Letters, a CiRCE Institute Master Teacher, and an adjunct professor for Integrated Humanities at John Brown University.

Mrs. Eben oversees curriculum and teacher needs and development.

Jessica Hooten Wilson is the inaugural Visiting Scholar of Liberal Arts at Pepperdine University and formerly Louise Cowan Scholar in Residence at the University of Dallas. She is a senior fellow at the Trinity Forum, the author of five books, and editor of three collections, including a great books reader, Learning the Good Life. In addition to having taught grammar, logic, rhetoric at Covenant Classical School in Fort Worth, Texas, she now leads professional development for teachers at classical schools across the country. She is an Alcuin Fellow, a permanent member of the advisory board for the Classical Learning Test, and a regular speaker at the Society of Classical Learning and the Circe National Conference.
